Sifu Mobile Guide: Release, Touch Controls & Aging
Sifu Mobile guide: the 12 October 2026 iOS and Android release, $7.99 price, touch controls, controller support, the full campaign and how the aging loop changes each run.
Verified for version1.0.2
Sifu is Sloclap's kung-fu brawler, originally released in 2022 and now adapted for phones. The mobile version launched on iOS and Android on 12 October 2026, priced at $7.99 on the US App Store. It includes the complete story campaign, not a cut-down mode. Sloclap developed the game; the mobile release is published under Kepler Interactive, the group Sloclap belongs to. For PC players, the original is on Steam (appid 2138710; Steam release 28 March 2023, $39.99); this page focuses on the 12 October 2026 mobile release.
What the mobile version includes
The App Store description is specific: the full campaign is included, with new touch controls designed for mobile, enhanced contextual interactions, a reworked camera and full controller support. The pitch is the same as the console and PC game: hunt down the assassins who killed your family, fight with Pak-Mei kung fu, and use the environment when the odds are bad.
There is no separate mobile storyline, and the official description does not list a mobile-only combat system. Treat the phone version as the same game with a different control scheme, not a spin-off.
The aging loop
The amulet is the whole design. When you die, you come back older. Age is the run's real timer: the older you get, the less room you have for mistakes, and the fewer years remain to reach the next target. A clean stage keeps you young; a sloppy one can cost a decade before the boss.
That makes aggression expensive. Learn to block, parry and dodge before you try to trade hits. Use throwable objects, weapons and ledges when a group surrounds you. The game expects repeated attempts, and each attempt is a lesson in enemy timing rather than a fresh character build.
Bosses are pattern tests
Each stage builds toward a boss, and bosses punish the habits that worked against regular enemies. Do not rush the first exchange. Watch the tells, survive one combo, then look for the opening. If a boss keeps killing you at the same age, the problem is usually a specific attack you are not recognising, not your damage.
The mobile camera is the other variable. The reworked camera is meant to help on a smaller screen, but you should still adjust sensitivity and distance until you can see both the boss and your own spacing. If touch controls feel imprecise, use a controller; the App Store lists full controller support.
Touch controls or a controller
Touch controls are the biggest difference from the original release. The App Store says they were designed specifically for mobile, with enhanced contextual interactions. That does not make the game easier; Sifu's combat is built on timing, and a virtual stick can blur the input you intended.
Try the default layout first, then change button size and position before you blame the game. A controller is the more consistent option for boss attempts, especially if you already know the console version. Either way, the aging mechanic is unchanged: the control method changes how reliably you execute, not what death costs.
Start here
Play the first stage slowly and treat every death as information. Learn one enemy type's tells, practise the parry timing, and only then push for speed. On mobile, sort out the camera and controls before you judge the combat; the full campaign is there, and the years are supposed to run out.
