Azeroth Survivors: First Class, Build & Run Guide

A first-run route for Azeroth Survivors: pick a class, learn the auto-cast loop, choose upgrade cards, and spend meta progression without spreading thin.

Verified for version0.91.0

Azeroth Survivors is a free WoW fan roguelike: pick a class and a zone, move with WASD, and let your abilities fire automatically while you dodge waves. This route covers the first few runs.

Pick a class you already know

The game uses the classic WoW classes. If you know a class from WoW, start there: you will recognise the damage type and the defensive tools. If you want an easier first run, pick a ranged class and keep distance while you learn enemy patterns.

Learn the auto-cast loop

Your abilities fire automatically, so your decisions are movement, cooldown timing and card picks. The F-key movement ability unlocks at level 5 and is your main escape. Keep moving in a wide circle; backing into a corner is how a run ends.

Choose one damage plan

Level-ups offer three cards. Do not spread picks across every option. Choose cards that support your class's main damage type and one survival tool. A focused build clears the early acts; a spread of low-value cards stalls.

Bosses and meta progression

Bosses appear every few minutes. They drop permanent items, and the trait/upgrade XP you earn carries into later runs. A failed run is still progress. Spend meta currency on the upgrades that support the class you are actually playing, not on everything at once.

Start here

Open wow.aethus.pl, pick a class you know, and run one zone. Learn the auto-cast rhythm and the F-key escape first; then start optimising cards and meta upgrades.

FAQ

Which class should I start with in Azeroth Survivors?

Pick a class you already know from World of Warcraft. A ranged class is easier while you learn enemy patterns; the F-key movement ability at level 5 is your main escape.

Does Azeroth Survivors have meta progression?

Yes. Bosses drop permanent items and trait/upgrade XP carries into later runs, so a failed run still advances your account.

Is Azeroth Survivors an official Blizzard game?

No. It is an unauthorised fan project; there is no evidence Blizzard approved or endorses it.
