PokeSurvivor: First Run, Moves & Co-op Basics
A PokeSurvivor starter route: pick a partner, choose damage moves, avoid stat-only traps, evolve early, and set up a four-player room code.
Verified for version1.0
PokeSurvivor is a free browser Pokémon survivor game. Your partner attacks automatically; you move, dodge and choose level-up cards. This route covers the first run and the co-op basics.
Pick a partner and a damage move
Start with a partner whose move you can actually use. You hold up to four moves and swap which one is active. For the first run, keep one reliable damage move active and one defensive option in reserve. Do not fill every slot with stat-only moves.
Avoid the stat-only trap
Harden, Agility, Swords Dance and Aqua Ring do not deal damage. If you leave one as the active move, your partner stops attacking. That is the most common beginner mistake. Check the active slot before every wave.
Use level-ups and evolutions
Level-ups offer three cards. Prioritise a damage move you can evolve; a damage move reaches level 5, then takes its upgrade card, and a golden evolution card can appear. Use your reroll when a level-up offers no damage or evolution path. Unlock new partners steadily; the collection is part of the long-term progression.
Co-op
Up to four players can play online through room codes. The host creates a room and shares the code; friends join from the Friends panel. Each player uses their own unlocked Pokémon, while coins and pickups are shared. PC and mobile browsers can play together. There are no official dedicated servers, so expect lag and disconnects.
