ArcheAge Chronicles: Early Access Launch Checklist

A pre-launch checklist for ArcheAge Chronicles: the 3 November start time, price and pre-order bonus, class choice, languages, anti-cheat and first-hour priorities.

Verified for versionpre-release

ArcheAge Chronicles opens its Steam Early Access on 3 November 2026 at 3:00 PM PST. Because the game is not out yet, this page is a launch checklist rather than a walkthrough: the decisions worth making before the servers open, and the habits that will matter in your first hours.

Before 3 November

  1. Convert the start time. The announcement gives 3:00 PM PST. Work out what that is where you live before launch day, not after.
  2. Check the price for your region. The North American package is $29.99, and regional pricing varies. Steam is the place to confirm what you will actually pay.
  3. Decide on a class if you want the pre-order bonus. The Dawn Pioneer Set costume is issued for one class of your choice, so the bonus is only useful if you know which class you intend to play.
  4. Check the language list. English, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese are listed. If you plan to play in one of them, confirm it covers the interface you need.
  5. Read the anti-cheat and EULA note. The store lists XIGNCODE3, a kernel-level anti-cheat, and a third-party EULA. Knowing that before you install is better than discovering it afterwards.
  6. Confirm your controller. Full controller support is listed, so a pad is a valid way to play from day one.

Launch day

The game is a paid Early Access title, not a free-to-play launch, so there is no reason to rush into a store page you have not checked. Buy the package for your region, install, and read the EULA prompt.

The launch announcement's specific start time is the one concrete scheduling fact available. Build your day around that time, not a vague "sometime on the 3rd".

Your first character

The pre-order bonus tells you something useful about the game's structure: classes exist, and the costume is tied to one of them. That makes class choice the first real decision, before cosmetics or equipment.

The systems named in the announcement — crafting, trade and housing — are long-term investments, not first-hour content. In the opening hours, learn how your class fights and how the open world is laid out. Start on the economy once you know where the resources and the player traffic are.

With PvP and co-op categories, other players will shape your experience from the start. Treat the first days as a social launch: find a group, learn the routes, and do not commit rare materials to a plan you might change.

What to ignore at first

  • Tier lists. An Early Access MMO's balance changes; the first weeks are a poor time to chase a meta.
  • Perfect housing. Housing is a long-term system. A functional home beats a beautiful one while you are still learning the map.
  • Rushing the economy. Crafting and trade reward knowledge of prices and routes, and that knowledge takes time.
